Jeju Ocean Cleanup
Participating in an jeju ocean cleanup, where me and a team of volunteers are removing discarded fishing nets and plastic waste from the waters surrounding Jeju Island. These efforts are critical in preventing the entanglement and death of marine life, including important plant species like kelp and seagrass, which can suffer from smothering by debris. Your actions contribute to maintaining clearer, cleaner habitats, essential for the thriving biodiversity of Jeju’s coastal ecosystems.
Scubadiving
A scuba diving expedition off the coast of Jeju Island, where I was involved in a marine plant survey. Under the crystal-clear waters, you document the health of local seagrass beds, vital for the ecosystem’s biodiversity and resilience against erosion.
